Marking three decades of research and training, Kasadya: 30 Years of Diversity and Archaeology commemorates the University of the Philippines School of Archaeology’s role in advancing the study of the country’s past. The exhibition presents select fieldwork from across the Philippine archipelago and beyond, illustrating the breadth of sites, periods, and cultural contexts explored by the institution.

“Kasadya”—a Visayan term connoting joy and vibrancy—speaks to the diversity of the archaeological record and to the School’s collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to heritage. Through artifacts, photographs, maps, and field narratives, the exhibit underscores how three decades of scholarship have shaped understandings of Philippine and regional archaeology.
